Flower lists
If you're looking for a garden flower with show appeal, hydrangea flowers are truly stunning. Large globes of flowers cover this shrub in summer and spring. Although their appearance may seem high maintenance, with the right conditions and care, hydrangeas are actually fairly easy to grow.
Hydrangea (/haɪˈdreɪndʒiə/;[1] common names hydrangea or hortensia) is a genus of 70–75 species of flowering plants native to Asia and the Americas. By far the greatest species diversity is in eastern Asia, notably Korea, China, and Japan.
Hydrangea flowers are produced from early spring to late autumn; they grow in flowerheads (corymbs or panicles) most often at the ends of the stems. Typically the flowerheads contain two types of flowers: small non-showy flowers in the center or interior of the flowerhead, and large, showy flowers with large colorful sepals (tepals). These showy flowers are often extended in a ring, or to the exterior of the small flowers. Plants in wild populations typically have few to none of the showy flowers, while cultivated hydrangeas have been bred and selected to have more of the larger type flowers.
Azaleas are good at purifying the polluted air.
They can survive in harsh environments in high-temperatures and dry weather. It is very easy to take care of them as they start to grow up by themselves
There are some special ways to enjoy azaleas in a premium style. In Nezu, which is close to the Ueno area in Tokyo, Nezu Shrine offers an Azalea Festival in May and early June. There, you can enjoy many different varieties of azaleas that bloom beautifully throughout the season. Nezu Station was crowded when I visited the Azalea Festival at Nezu Shrine. Many people had gathered in the small shrine that quickly turned crowded and noisy. However, what surprised me most were the colorful azaleas. The collaboration of traditional architecture and beautiful azaleas was a wonderful sight.
